Overview

In this role, you will develop, support and maintain the core Workday HR system within Freshfields’ Global HR Technology and Services team, delivering excellent service worldwide. You will analyze business processes, configure functionality, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. You will lead Workday projects from design to deployment, ensuring governance, security and audit readiness. This position offers the chance to shape the Workday roadmap and support change adoption across a global organization.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Workday Absence and Time Tracking to drive process improvements
  • Lead configuration changes with end-to-end delivery including requirements, design, testing, training and documentation
  • Collaborate on Workday release items and ongoing continuous improvement; design solutions and coordinate training
  • Contribute to strategic Workday roadmap planning and prioritization with the business
  • Maintain governance, system integrity and configuration standards
  • Lead Workday projects from design through deployment to agreed standards and timelines
  • Work with internal teams and implementation partners
  • Support change management and user adoption activities
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance with policies and legislation
  • Mentor junior analysts and act as escalation for complex issues
Key requirements

  • Strong understanding of Workday business processes
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Proven stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting Workday releases and testing cycles
