As a Senior Extend Services Consultant, you design, develop, and deploy Workday Extend applications that complement Workday HR, Financial Management, and Student systems. You work closely with customers and project teams to translate complex needs into scalable solutions within a modern cloud platform. You will lead discovery, shape designs, and ensure successful deployments that deliver customer value. - Lead discovery sessions with domain experts to gather requirements
- Produce and review design documentation for maintainable and efficient solutions
- Develop and validate technical designs ensuring consistency and flexibility
- 2+ years of Workday Extend development
- 4+ years of data migration, integration development, report building, or software development
- 4+ years of technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design
- 4+ years of domain experience in HR, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student systems
- UK citizen with ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
- Extensive knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, SAML, etc.)
- Experience implementing Platform-as-a-Service or custom web applications, including Workday HCM/FM/Student solutions
- Experience taking a leadership role in software/system implementation
- Fluency in English; other European languages a plus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity
