Senior zOS Mainframe Systems Administrator

Support zOS mainframe operations with TSO/ISPF, JCL, and CA7 expertise across continuous production scheduling and batch processing services.

This senior Systems Administrator supports large zOS mainframe systems and applications. The work centers on monitoring, investigating, and resolving production batch failures. It also includes CA7 scheduling, IMS and DB2 applications, and service management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor mainframe scheduling and batch processing continuously
• Investigate and resolve production batch processing failures
• Escalate incidents to technical teams, clients, and management
• Implement batch and online system change requests
• Maintain onsite and remote KTLO-Monitoring services

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years supporting large zOS mainframe systems
• Experience with TSO/ISPF and JCL
• 5-8+ years using CA7 automated scheduling tools
• Knowledge of IMS and DB2 applications
• Knowledge of eSMT, CIT, Remedy, and ITIL
