Server Engineer

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Server Engineer or Data Centre Engineer


• Experience racking and stacking server hardware


• Knowledge of server patching and infrastructure deployments


• Understanding of networking concepts and cabling standards


• Ability to work independently onsite


• Must be available to work next Monday in Bolton

Responsibilities:

• Rack and install servers within the data centre environment


• Connect servers to the correct network and power ports


• Perform server patching and basic configuration tasks


• Verify hardware connectivity and network functionality


• Work alongside onsite IT teams to ensure successful deployment


• Troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues where required

We are offering a 1-day Server Engineer contract in Bolton for next Monday, paying £180 per day inside IR35. We are looking for someone to provide onsite support within a data centre environment and work alongside onsite IT teams to help ensure a successful deployment.
