Server Engineer & Cloud Architect needed in Lincoln Paying £20.93 per hr ref Full time hours on a temporarybasis Key Responsibilities Provide

3rd Line support

for IT incidents, service requests, and problem management activities, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. Administer, manage, maintain, and optimise hybrid server, storage, and cloud environments. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of infrastructure services. Design, implement, and support cloud architecture solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and architectural designs. Ensure systems remain secure through effective patch management, firmware updates, operating system maintenance, and access control measures. Support infrastructure projects by providing technical expertise, solution options analysis, and product evaluations. Monitor infrastructure performance, system health, capacity, and service quality, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver infrastructure enhancements and strategic technology initiatives. Participate in the out-of-hours on-call support rota to provide emergency support when required. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and security standards.
