Service Architect

As an Applications Service Architect at CGI, you will lead the service architecture across strategic opportunities, shaping end-to-end solutions that are commercially viable for public and private sector clients. You’ll collaborate with bid teams, solution architects and delivery experts to craft innovative service designs and transition plans. This role blends technical expertise with business sense to strengthen CGI’s service propositions and drive winning outcomes. You’ll work in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment and influence next‑generation managed services.

• Own the Application Services, Service Management and Service Delivery elements of bids, tenders, renewals and transformation opportunities
• Develop end-to-end service architectures, operating models and delivery solutions
• Produce compelling ITT/RFP responses and qualification submissions
• Collaborate with technical architects, delivery teams, partners and suppliers to create integrated solutions
• Translate requirements into service designs, governance, SLAs and operational readiness plans
• Incorporate automation, Agile and DevOps practices to improve service delivery
• Coordinate risks, assumptions, dependencies, estimates and cost inputs for commercial viability
• Present solutions to senior stakeholders and clients, addressing technical and commercial challenges
• Shape service transition and implementation plans with governance and operational readiness
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to reusable service propositions and best practices

• Strong experience in application management, service architecture or IT service delivery
• Ability to design and articulate commercially viable solutions for complex opportunities
• Proven skills translating business and technical requirements into effective service models
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and proactive ownership of opportunities
