Overview

In this role you lead a professional, compliant security service across three Airbus Defence & Space sites, providing visible leadership and ensuring consistent delivery. You work with customer stakeholders to meet performance standards, drive improvements, and uphold safety, security and service excellence. You will oversee operations, governance and people management, traveling between locations to maintain engagement and high standards. This is a strategic, risk-aware role focused on delivering secure, welcoming environments and continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily security service delivery across three sites, ensuring contract, SLA and KPI compliance
  • Monitor and improve service quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain control room, CCTV, access control and patrol management oversight
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Security standards and Mitie policies
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections and corrective actions; keep documentation up to date
  • Develop and maintain Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Assignment Instructions (AIs)
  • Lead and develop security teams; ensure officers hold valid SIA licences and receive training
  • Manage risk assessments, incident reporting and action closure; promote safety culture
  • Act as primary point of contact for security matters; report to senior stakeholders
  • Oversee payroll validation, invoicing, resource planning and cost management
  • Identify opportunities for service innovation and prepare performance reviews and trend analyses
  • Drive accountability, safety and professionalism across the security operation
Key requirements
  • Proven experience managing corporate or large-scale security operations
  • Demonstrable people leadership, performance management and client engagement experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SIA licence (Front Line)
  • Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Right to Work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
