ServiceNow Architect

In this role you will own the technical architecture for a large ServiceNow migration within a highly secure, regulated environment. You will shape the architecture, roadmap and governance, working with senior stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver scalable, secure ServiceNow capabilities. You’ll lead design and migration activities across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and integrations, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on architecture role with clear impact on critical business objectives and transformation progress.

• Lead the end-to-end technical architecture for a major ServiceNow migration programme
• Define and maintain the ServiceNow strategy, roadmap and governance
• Design scalable, secure, resilient platform solutions aligned to best practices
• Provide architectural oversight across configuration, integrations, infrastructure and data migration
• Lead discovery workshops with business and technology stakeholders
• Produce high-level and low-level designs, architectures and technical docs
• Define migration strategies from on-premise to target environments with minimal disruption
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and governance requirements
• Review and approve designs from development and engineering teams
• Act as the senior technical authority for platform standards and decisions
• Collaborate with programme managers, technical leads, infrastructure teams and external suppliers
• Identify technical risks and implement mitigations across the lifecycle
• Support testing, deployment, transition and operational readiness activities

• Proven experience as Technical Architect, Solution Architect or Lead Architect in ServiceNow
• Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow migration programmes
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Workflows and platform integrations
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions
• Understanding of infrastructure, networking, cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments
• Ability to produce architecture artefacts: HLDs, LLDs, solution designs, technical specifications
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication to technical and executive audiences
• Experience establishing architectural governance and adherence to best practices
• Ability to lead technical teams and influence direction on major programmes
• DV/SC clearance desirable; experience in secure environments is a plus
• Certifications in ServiceNow (CTA/CMA/CSA/CAD/CIS) and TOGAF are advantageous
