Overview

As a ServiceNow Developer at Version 1, you will advance our managed service practice by delivering next-generation ServiceNow solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to automate processes, build UI components, and integrate the platform with other systems. The role focuses on maintaining a secure, high-performing instance while continually modernising our ServiceNow capabilities. Responsibilities
  • Keep ServiceNow up to date with patches and upgrades
  • Automate business processes via workflows, scheduled scripts, and inbound/outbound automation
  • Create and manage workflows (Flow Designer) to streamline processes
  • Design and maintain Service Catalogue items, order guides, and workflows
  • Develop UI components (forms, lists, UI pages) and write/maintain scripts (JavaScript, GlideScript)
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems for seamless data flow
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow Portal and related applications
  • Ensure security and compliance to protect data and access
  • Document configurations, customizations, and processes clearly
  • Identify performance issues and optimise ServiceNow instances
  • Stay current with best practices and industry trends
  • Develop reports and dashboards for monitoring and insights
  • Support Domain Separation in ServiceNow applications
  • Provide user guidance on ServiceNow usage
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Developer experience
  • Proven track record of automation-improved processes and effectiveness
  • Strong understanding of IT service management and ITIL framework
  • Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Two or more of the following certifications: CSA, CAD, CSM (Performance Analytics), CSM (Customer Service Management), CSM (Service Mapping), CSM (Discovery), CSM (IT Service Management)
