Location: Hybrid - Ottawa Ont.

Clearance: Must be eligible for Level 1 Security Clearance (You must be living in Canada for 5 years)

Expertise & Essential Skills

• Education: Has a college diploma or university degree in an IT discipline.
• Experience: Has minimum of 7 years in ServiceNow development.
• Technical Expertise:

o ServiceNow Employee Center

o SharePoint experience as a user

o ServiceNow Integration Hub

o Knowledge Management, taxonomy design, and content governance

o ServiceNow App Engine Studio: Advanced Proficiency in building apps using AES.

o ServiceNow Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with tables, forms, ACLs, and Flow Designer.

o Low-Code Development: Ability to create apps without heavy scripting.

Delivery Skills

o Ability to work in agile sprints and deliver rapid prototypes.

o Strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Asset

• Experience with SharePoint as a developer (API, Integration, Search Schema)
• Experience with ServiceNow Studio for advanced scripting.
• Experience with Service Portal widgets, Next Experience.
• Performance Analytics, and UI Builder.
• Strong UX and accessibility awareness.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or App Engine Specialist certification
• Experience in Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Bilingual in English and French
• Located in the National Capital Region (NCR) and available to work hybrid

Activities/Deliverables (as directed by HoC)

The following activities and/or deliverables will be produced on various initiatives:

• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions.
• Support/automate the data migration
• Implement/configure solution to integrate ServiceNow with SharePoint for document
• Develop, test, demo, and deliver solution features in sprints.
• Release notes and deployment documentation.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Fix defects.
• Create technical documentation for implemented features.
• Ensure alignment with architecture standards set by HoC and the Strategist.
• Rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept
