ServiceNow Technical Architect

My client, a leading technology consulting practice, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to join its national ServiceNow team . This is a strategic, hands‑on role for an architect who enjoys setting technical direction, influencing stakeholders, and delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performing ServiceNow platforms in complex enterprise environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect and design end‑to‑end ServiceNow solutions aligned with business goals and enterprise architecture standards
• Define and enforce ServiceNow architectural best practices, governance models, and technical standards
• Lead technical design workshops and evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities to drive innovation and platform optimization
• Design and oversee integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, resilient technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on complex workflows, custom apps, and integrations
• Ensure platform security, performance, and reliability through proactive risk management and continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and technical standards
• Communicate architectural vision and technical strategy to senior leaders and executives

What My Client Is Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or Implementation Specialist (CTA is a strong asset)
• 7+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow experience, including solution architecture and technical leadership
• Experience implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control within ServiceNow
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical direction
• Knowledge of ITSM frameworks and ITIL (v3 or later) is an asset
• Exposure to other ITSM platforms is a plus
