Overview

In this role you will design and implement technical solutions to enable teams to hit short-term goals while maintaining reliable, scalable services. You’ll handle on-call needs, collaborate across the SRE track and with other engineers, and drive improvements to meet and exceed SLAs and SLOs. You’ll partner with product teams to embed better practices and deliver high-quality, dependable services. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment at DeepL.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, design and implement solutions to help teams achieve goals
  • On-call and cross-team support across Site Reliability Engineering
  • Collaborate with SRE peers and other engineers
  • Ensure business SLAs and team SLOs are met or exceeded
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems and practices to enable product teams
Key requirements
  • Experience in SRE or DevOps with strong cross-team collaboration
  • Blend of Platform and Cloud Engineering experience (Virtual/Physical hardware, ideally blended IaaS/PaaS) and Site Reliability
  • Strong focus on customer experience and product mindset
