Overview
In this role you will help ensure our payments and card systems are fast, reliable, and scalable. You will collaborate with the BAR team to design, build, and monitor resilient infrastructure and guide feature launches with clear SLAs. You’ll automate cloud and platform tooling to reduce toil and boost productivity, while improving visibility and user experience. This position offers the chance to shape our growing fintech platform in a hands-on, impact-driven environment.

- Design, build, and monitor scalable, reliable systems
- Manage Azure, Datadog, NGINX and Cloudflare
- Develop and monitor Kubernetes and Serverless resources
- Maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and Crossplane
- Improve processes and consult stakeholders to enhance performance
- Contribute to architecture/design of new applications
- Reduce toil by automating repetitive tasks and streamlining workflows
- Create SLIs/SLOs and align with Product on core service objectives
- Collaborate with Platform Engineers on automated solutions and pipelines
- Support CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Flux) to streamline delivery
- Lead incidentTroubleshooting to safeguard customer experience
- Experience managing a public cloud (Azure advantageous)
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus, Flux or other CI/CD tools
- Experience with Linux and Microsoft Systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration in agile environments
- Proficient in infrastructure as code with Terraform and Pulumi
- Experience with cloud monitoring (Datadog)
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, Go)
