GitLab hires Site Reliability Engineers from Intermediate through Senior Staff across Infrastructure Platforms teams. You will build, operate, and evolve production infrastructure while improving reliability, scalability, and efficiency. The work includes cloud platforms, observability, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep user-facing services reliable, scalable, and efficient
  • Build automation and infrastructure-as-code-driven tooling
  • Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes production systems
  • Ship infrastructure changes safely through CI/CD and GitOps
  • Participate in on-call, incident response, and post-incident reviews

Requirements:

  • Production reliability experience combining operations and software engineering
  • Infrastructure-as-code and Kubernetes ecosystem experience
  • Hands-on GCP or AWS experience
  • Ability to read, debug, and reason about code
  • Structured troubleshooting and incident response experience
