Overview

In this role, you will design and run the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that underpin a Snowflake data warehouse and integration platform. You’ll work with data engineers and architects to enable secure, scalable, and reliable delivery using modern DevOps practices. You will shape environments, automate deployments, and promote best practices across the data platform. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of data engineering and platform reliability, offering hands-on work with cutting-edge tooling and security standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure for Snowflake and data services
  • Implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Ensure dev/test/prod environments are secure, consistent, and scalable
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform components
  • Automate deployment, testing, and promotion across environments
  • Integrate version control and release management processes
  • Provision and configure Snowflake environments; manage RBAC and secrets
  • Collaborate with data engineers to optimize Snowflake deployment patterns
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across the data platform
  • Ensure high availability and performance; troubleshoot incidents
  • Embed security practices across infra and pipelines; manage encryption and access controls
  • Support audit and compliance requirements; promote DevOps culture and documentation
Key requirements
  • Snowflake experience
  • DevOps or cloud/platform engineering background
  • Proven IaC experience (Terraform)
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps)
  • Git and release management knowledge
  • Data platform or data engineering experience
  • Understanding of ELT/ETL and data workflows
  • Monitoring/observability tools experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Cloud security awareness; IAM and secrets management; regulated environment compliance
