SOC Lead

In this role you lead ASOS's security operations and incident response capability, balancing hands-on technical work with leadership. You own major incidents, drive the response, and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolution. You’ll shape how the SOC operates, boost detection, and expand automation using modern cloud security tech. This is a strategic, technically oriented leadership role with autonomy and influence.

• Own major and complex incidents from detection through resolution
• Lead and coordinate technical incident response across teams
• Maintain hands-on involvement with SIEMs and security tooling
• Improve detection capabilities and reduce manual processes via automation
• Influence SOC operating models and incident response processes
• Work with cloud security technologies (e.g., Wiz, Microsoft Sentinel)
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders under pressure

• Strong incident response and cyber security operations experience
• Ownership of serious incidents and driving technical response to resolution
• Hands-on with SIEM technologies (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk or similar)
• Strong in detection engineering, threat detection and EDR
• Experience with modern cloud security environments (e.g., Wiz)
• Interest in automation to improve security operations
• Senior member of a SOC or cyber operations team with leadership presence
• Excellent communication skills under pressure
