In this Software Architect role you own the full architecture of complex, safety‑critical systems and work with delivery teams to govern interfaces and evolution. You will identify key design drivers such as real‑time performance, safety, security and usability, balancing trade‑offs with clear rationale. You’ll produce architectural assumptions and decision reasoning while ensuring implementation aligns with architecture. You’ll influence architecture strategy and promote technical excellence within cross‑functional teams. This is a chance to shape robust, scalable software at the forefront of critical systems.

- document and own key design drivers and decision rationale

- Proven experience as a Software Architect or senior technical design role
- Strong knowledge of modern and established architecture techniques and design patterns
- Experience with model‑based engineering
- Ability to define, communicate and defend architectural solutions at multiple levels
- Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with software delivery teams
- Clear communication and influence with internal customers and stakeholders
- Advocacy for sound software engineering practices and continuous integration
- Ability to assess and explain architectural trade‑offs with design rationale
- Understanding of software abstraction layers and full software stack
- Experience defining and influencing tools, frameworks and technologies
- Strong programming background across more than one language
