Responsibilities- Develop and maintain applications using Python, Django and related technologies
- Write clean, secure and testable code
- Support and enhance existing systems and applications
- Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders on technical solutions
- Design and implement APIs and system integrations
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Work across front-end and back-end development
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team
- Ensure development follows best practices for testing, security and documentation
- Support UAT, testing and software releases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technologies
- Commercial experience developing with Python
- Experience using Django
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with SQL and database design
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions
- Experience with Bash and command-line tools
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong understanding of software development best practice
