NET Developer

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 DOE

Location: Colchester, Essex (Hybrid)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

Join a growing software team working on a range of real-world business systems, from web applications and APIs to integrations, data platforms and order management tools.

You’ll be hands‑on with C#, .NET and SQL, developing new functionality while improving and supporting existing systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET


• Build and support REST APIs and third‑party integrations


• Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core


• Integrate APIs and data feeds using JSON, XML and CSV


• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues and integration problems


• Work closely with colleagues to turn business requirements into practical solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Good experience with C# or another object‑oriented language


• Understanding of web development fundamentals – HTML, CSS and JavaScript


• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases


• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail


• A proactive approach and willingness to learn

Desirable: .NET Core, EF Core, Blazor, REST APIs, SQL Server, Umbraco, IIS or Windows Server experience.
