Overview

As a Software Developer, you will build and optimize algorithmic trading systems at a leading hedge fund. You’ll work with technologists and Quant teams to design scalable, high-performance valuation, risk, and pricing components. From day one you’ll take technical ownership and influence architecture and delivery. This role combines finance domain knowledge with modern tech to drive impactful outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • develop algorithmic trading systems in collaboration with Quant teams
  • help architect valuation, risk and pricing systems
  • deliver scalable, high-performance streaming compute operations
  • own and lead project components from early stages
  • engage with industry experts and learn across the finance tech stack
Key requirements
  • outstanding academic record with minimum 2.1 in STEM from a top-tier university
  • A grades at A-level
  • advanced C# .Net programming skills including .Net Core (open to Java, Python, or C++ background if using C#)
  • strong knowledge of SQL databases
  • solid understanding of CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
