Overview
In this role you design, build, and maintain data infrastructure microservices in C++ to enable fast access and analysis of large data sets for trading and research. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and researchers to ensure reliable data retrieval, processing, and storage. The position emphasizes performance, scalability, and clean, maintainable code within a team that shapes data processing pipelines. You will contribute to architecture decisions and stay current with evolving data engineering tech to drive impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure microservices in C++
- Optimize services for performance and scalability
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Stay up-to-date with C++ and data engineering trends
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices
- Participate in code reviews for quality and consistency

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in C++
- Experience with microservices and/or asynchronous multithreaded applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience working in a Linux environment
