Overview
As Software Developer in Test, you will help ensure high-quality delivery for Payments and Financial Document Automation SaaS solutions in an agile fintech environment. You’ll work with development and product teams to automate testing, define test strategies, and evolve our QA framework. You’ll lead testing efforts, mentor peers, and contribute to process improvements and release testing. This role offers ownership in a fast-growing fintech workspace and a chance to shape testing practices at scale.
Responsibilities- Automate testing of new features and non-functional requirements in an agile (scrum) setup
- Evaluate and integrate new automation technologies into the test framework
- Analyze requirements, design thorough testing strategies, and contribute to feature design
- Adopt a user-centric testing mindset by understanding user profiles and usage patterns
- Provide QA Automation leadership and mentor team members
- Assist in estimation and planning within scrum
- Perform release testing and report testing coverage and quality metrics
- Contribute to QA process improvements and defect tracking in Jira
- Java
- Selenium Web Driver
- Experience with or willingness to learn JMeter/Gatling/NeoLoad
- SQL script creation/execution
- Strong communication skills
- Significant experience in testing and automation
