Software Developer in Test – Fintech (Reading)

In this Software Developer in Test role, you ensure high-quality delivery for cloud-based fintech Payments and Financial Document Automation SaaS solutions. You will work in an agile team with developers and product managers to automate tests, validate performance, and shape the QA strategy. You’ll explore new automation technologies, mentor colleagues, and contribute to release testing and quality metrics. This position offers ownership of testing outcomes in a fast-paced fintech environment that handles large-scale data and enterprise clients.

• Automate testing of new features and non-functional requirements in an Agile/scrum setting
• Review and select automation technologies to enhance the test framework
• Analyze requirements and design thorough testing strategies for features
• Understand user profiles to incorporate user-centric testing perspectives
• Mentor team members and provide QA automation leadership
• Assist in estimation and planning within scrum projects
• Participate in release testing and provide coverage overviews
• Contribute to QA process improvement initiatives and defect tracking (Jira)
• Communicate testing results and quality metrics to stakeholders
