Software Developer - Order Gateway

Overview
In this role you will own the design, development, testing, and optimization of high-performance order gateway solutions that route orders and manage trade information across global exchanges. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust software, while mentoring peers and contributing to architectural decisions. You’ll drive software quality, performance, and reliability, and participate in design discussions and code reviews. This position offers growth toward leadership and people management as you deliver scalable, low-latency systems.
Responsibilities- End-to-end ownership of order gateway design, development, testing, and optimization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Hands-on delivery, ensuring quality and reliability of systems
- Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews; provide guidance
- Champion best practices across the development lifecycle; improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Embed effective test strategies within the development process
- Provide Level 2 support to technology operations for order gateway components
- Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to foster technical excellence
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration in global teams
- Expertise in software development best practices, version control, and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in modern C++ development
- Strong background in Linux environments
- Advanced knowledge of data structures and networking concepts
