Software Development Engineer, Alexa for Shopping

In this role you will design and lead the development of a unique feature for millions of Amazon customers. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to craft engaging experiences and deliver robust solutions quickly. You’ll prototype and iterate with other technology leaders, tackling novel challenges while growing the product’s reach and impact. • Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to implement and improve user experiences
• Work with design to define and implement optimal UX
• Manage assigned tasks and on-call duties

• Experience in professional, non-internship software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Experience with full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
