In this role you design and operate high-throughput backend services for scalable, accurate pricing experiences. You work with cross-functional teams to build reliable microservices, optimize performance, and integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions. - Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency backend services for pricing at scale
- Implement caching to improve performance and resource utilization
- Participate in system, API design, and data modeling for scalable microservices
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and architecture discussions
- Analyze complex problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of relevant backend development experience
- Hands-on backend development with Java, Scala, Kotlin, or similar languages
- Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Couchbase, Memcached) and with relational and NoSQL databases
- Proven ability to conduct technical reviews and work in Agile environments
- Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems using Kafka Streams or AWS Kinesis
- Proven ability to optimize microservices for low-latency, high-throughput processing
