In this role you will own mission-critical pricing services end-to-end, from design to operations, at global scale. You’ll collaborate with business partners to align tech with outcomes and drive measurable impact. You will analyze problems, guide architecture, and mentor peers while improving reliability and performance. Responsibilities
  • End-to-end ownership of pricing services architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and operations
  • Partner with business to link technical stack to business outcomes
  • Analyze complex problems, decompose into milestones, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Contribute to architecture reviews, documentation, and code reviews
  • Test and maintain software using diverse tools per customer requirements
  • Research and recommend frameworks and patterns; suggest improvements
  • Advocate for operational excellence (unit tests, SLAs, resiliency) and drive efficiency
  • Mentor team members to foster technical growth and cross-team collaboration
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (5+ years) or Master’s Degree (4+ years post-degree)
  • Hands-on experience with Java or similar OO languages, or Scala/Kotlin
  • Experience building and operating scalable distributed systems in AWS or similar
  • Proven mentoring of at least 3 individuals and end-to-end design for at least 3 projects
  • Ability to identify business problems and design observable, testable solutions
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, API patterns, and SOA
  • Ability to establish operational excellence metrics and drive testing, monitoring, and alerts
  • Strong experience with caching technologies (Redis, Couchbase, Memcached)
  • Experience on Agile teams with 5+ engineers, CI/CD practices
