Overview

In this Software Development Manager role, you will lead a 10+ engineer team and steer architecture and long-term product planning for a brand-new product range. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional peers to translate customer needs into technical solutions while shaping the engineering roadmap. This semi-remote position places most of the team in-office during the week, contributing to a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You’ll join a world-renowned software house that values technical excellence and practical leadership, with a clear opportunity to share in the business through equity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 10+ engineers on day-to-day delivery
  • Contribute to architecture and product planning for future releases
  • Liaise with customers to gather and refine requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
  • Mentor team members and drive software development best practices
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of project lead or team lead experience
  • Excellent background in C++ development
  • Degree in Computer Science, Maths or Physics or Similar
  • Good experience liaising with customers on requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
