Software Development Manager, Device Partnerships, Prime Video

In this role you will lead the Device Certification team to ensure Prime Video delivers a high-quality streaming experience across living room devices. You will partner with manufacturers and internal teams to automate certification and support processes, driving scalable, reliable performance at global scale. You will mentor engineers and evolve the team as automation reduces manual steps, shaping how customers watch Prime Video on TV, set-top boxes, and game consoles. This position offers the chance to influence device partnerships and performance across hundreds of millions of devices.

• Lead the Device Certification team to ensure Prime Video works well on Living Room devices across a global install base.
• Oversee device operational support to prevent third-party software updates from degrading streaming quality.
• Design, build, and support tooling for device manufacturers to install, test, and monitor Prime Video performance.
• Transition certification and support processes from manual to automated, agentic workflows leveraging Gen AI.
• Develop the careers of team members, including training and transitioning staff to automation-driven roles.

• Knowledge of engineering practices across the software/hardware/networks lifecycle, including coding standards, reviews, source control, builds, testing, certification, and live-site operations
• Experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services
