Software Development Manager, Prime Video Access

In this role, you will lead the engineering for Prime Video’s subscription and video library management within the Access team. You’ll shape the long-term technical vision, guide a cross-functional squad, and drive initiatives that scale services and protect customer privacy. You collaborate with product, engineering, and business partners to deliver value for customers and partners across global surfaces. You’ll foster an inclusive culture and own the team’s roadmap and delivery. This is a chance to influence how millions access the titles they love at scale.

• Define and own the team's long-term vision and roadmap
• Manage day-to-day delivery and growth of direct reports
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to prioritize impactful work
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, review metrics, and align with cross-team partners
• Foster an inclusive team culture and effective collaboration with Prime Video teams

• Knowledge of full software/hardware/networks life cycle practices
• Experience in engineering team management
• Experience leading multi-tier web services development
• Experience in engineering teams and in designing/architecting scalable systems
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams
• Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership (preferred)
• Experience recruiting, mentoring, and building engineering teams (preferred)
