Overview

In this role you will contribute to maintenance and enhancement of mission-critical simulation software, working on Windows and Red Hat Linux in a client-site, on-site setting. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a rigorous development and test cycle and maintain customer confidence in the software and team. You will engage with customers, translate requirements, and drive continuous improvement in a security-focused tech environment. This is a hands-on engineering role that offers growth through varied, impactful projects and active wellbeing and professional development support.

Pay / Benefits
  • 35,000 - 50,000 salary

Responsibilities
  • Understand requirements and scope changes for work items
  • Design, develop and maintain existing code solutions
  • Test and review software and supporting documentation
  • Participate in meetings and provide domain expertise
  • Collaborate within a team and communicate effectively
  • Suggest improvements for continuous enhancements
Key requirements
  • 2+ years’ experience in C# development, or another language
  • Strong computing fundamentals (logic, data structures) and OOP
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio and MS Office
  • Experience with version control systems (Git/SVN)
  • Able to work in the UK and undergo UK DV security clearance
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and languages
