Software Engineer

In this junior Software Engineer role, you join our Gloucester team to help design and build secure software for defence and cyber programmes. You’ll learn across the development lifecycle and grow alongside experienced colleagues, applying modern delivery practices and contributing to reliable, maintainable solutions. • Support design, development, testing, debugging and documentation across the software lifecycle
• Investigate issues and contribute to reliability, security, and maintainability improvements

• Experience delivering software in a professional engineering environment
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (Java, Python, C++, Go, Rust, JavaScript or TypeScript)
• Experience using Linux, Git and automated unit testing
• Ability to evaluate different approaches and discuss pros/cons

• Willingness to obtain and maintain eDV security clearance
