Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will design and build solutions on Microsoft platforms, with emphasis on Azure, integration, and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical outcomes. The role focuses on secure, compliant data flows and production-ready solutions in a cloud/on-prem environment. You will contribute to modernizing and integrating systems across industries, with a strong emphasis on delivery and quality. This remote-from-London opportunity offers the chance to impact complex MSFT-based ecosystems at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop using MS Office 365, SharePoint Online, Power Apps/Power Automate, and Azure integration tools (Data Factory, Logic Apps)
  • Work with Azure SQL Server, Data Lake, and related data platforms
  • Develop with Visual Studio using languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; PowerShell scripting
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and maintain production readiness (alerts, dashboards, runbooks)
  • Build and consume APIs; work with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, EDI; utilize Postman/SOAPUI for testing
  • Support data security, GDPR compliance, and EDI standards; ensure regulatory alignment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in on-going operational support and troubleshooting in cloud/on-prem environments
  • Leverage tools like D365, ServiceNow, Informatica, BI tools, and analytics platforms as needed
  • Represent technical capabilities to non-technical stakeholders and maintain concise communication
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in a related software engineering role
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency with MS Office/MS 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform
  • Strong Azure experience with integration tools (Data Factory, Logic Apps) and Azure SQL/Data Lake
  • Experience with Visual Studio and languages (C#, Java, JS, Python)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, EDI; SQL Server (SSIS, T-SQL)
  • Experience in regulated domains; GDPR/data security awareness
  • Excellent communication and ability to translate requirements
