Overview

As a Full-stack Engineer for Dialpad’s Workforce Management (WFM) product, you will build features that forecast demand, plan staffing, and schedule contact-center work. You’ll work on a cross-functional team to translate customer needs into reliable, scalable features across the WFM and Agentic spaces. You’ll contribute to API development, UI work, and platform tooling while applying AI to raise code quality and velocity. This role sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, helping Dialpad advance its agentic AI platform. You’ll have meaningful impact on how contact centers operate at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Build features across WFM and Agentic product areas
  • Develop accessible interfaces with React and TypeScript
  • Create APIs and services using TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Write clear, modular, well-tested code
  • Leverage AI to accelerate development and quality
  • Contribute to technical designs with guidance from senior engineers
  • Review code and provide constructive feedback
  • Investigate production issues and participate in on-call rotations
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to drive feature development
  • Improve engineering practices, tooling, and documentation
  • Integrate Agentic capabilities into customer workflows
  • Learn and apply new Agentic technologies as the platform evolves
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications
  • Strong TypeScript and React skills
  • Experience developing backend services and APIs
  • Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL
  • Experience writing frontend or backend tests
  • Understanding of software design, performance, and maintainability
  • Ability to debug across multiple parts of an application
  • Experience delivering projects independently
  • Collaborative approach to technical decisions and feedback
  • Ability to leverage AI to accelerate work
