Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Extensive and demonstrable background in modern software engineering and development practice
  • Expertise in multiple modern software languages
  • Experience working within the cloud, with AWS currently in use
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps practice and writing infrastructure as code
  • A security-by-design mindset
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into elegant technical solutions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, senior management, and peers
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior engineers
  • Experience in the financial services sector is beneficial
  • Experience in a scale-up business is beneficial
  • Ruby on Rails experience is beneficial but not necessary
  • Experience with reactive programming is beneficial
  • Experience with AI/ML engineering is beneficial
  • DevOps experience: 3 years preferred
  • Software development experience: 4 years required

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and maintain high-quality software
  • Contribute to architecture and tooling decisions
  • Share knowledge and help others grow their expertise
  • Ensure the security of our software stack and applications
  • Work as a key member of a small agile team
  • Help imagine, design, develop, test, and deploy the software behind our key systems
