Software Engineer

In this role you will join the D2C Investments Platform engineering team to shape a brand-new digital stockbroking platform. You will design and implement a customer- and colleague-focused frontend, contributing to a high-scale online trading experience. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to deliver resilient, secure software and promote best engineering practices. The role offers ownership of your development journey and chances to impact how customers invest. • Proven experience building dynamic, data-driven front ends with ReactJS using TypeScript
• Experience with front-end design patterns and producing high-quality, reusable, modular code
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Jest, Playwright
• Experience with Git and managing changes in a large code base
• CI/CD automation across the SDLC using Harness
• Experience with large-scale, high-performance, low-latency applications
• Familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures
• Cloud-native solutions (GCP) and RESTful API integrations
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (GCP)
