- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions
- Collaborate with tech leads to align with bp’s strategy and team priorities
- Integrate solutions across bp with the Yalla stack and other engineering teams
- Write production-ready code in C#, Python, Java, or Go and learn new technologies as needed
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases
- Contribute to live service reliability through monitoring and incident response
- Follow secure coding practices and bp information security standards
- Participate in system design discussions and guide architectural trade-offs
- Support deployment processes and knowledge sharing within the team
- Design and optimize relational databases and data models
- Assist with delivery planning and progress tracking for digital initiatives
- Software Engineer with production system experience
- Strong understanding of Agile development and modern software practices
- Collaborative mindset and clear communication with engineers and product managers
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, or release processes
- Experience designing relational databases and data models
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Familiarity with container-based development
- Understanding of secure software development principles
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and reliability for production systems
- Ability to participate in system design discussions with guidance from seniors
- Experience using Git-based source control and common branching strategies
