Overview

As a Java Developer in Global's Commercial Technology team, you will build and evolve microservices using Java 17+/Spring Boot, deployed to Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines. You’ll work closely with engineers, architects, and product owners to deliver features that support commercial revenue and platform scalability. The role combines development, deployment support, and production troubleshooting in a collaborative, agile environment. You’ll contribute to a culture of learning, trust, and iterative delivery, with a clear impact on business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop features to support the roadmap and platform architecture
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to align requirements and integration
  • Assist in deploying services to production, troubleshoot issues, and provide user support
Key requirements
  • Java expertise in Java 17/21
  • Spring Boot
  • RDBMS and NoSQL persistence
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SNS/SQS)
