Overview
In this role you design and develop safety-critical embedded software for autonomous systems within a specialist engineering team. You will contribute to software architecture and work in a growing space that delivers real-world impact, collaborating across a focused environment. The position offers office-based collaboration several days a week and the chance to apply AI concepts within robotics. You will help shape robust, mission-critical software foundations for next-generation systems.

- Collaborate with a specialist team and contribute to software architecture
- Build software in an evolving space with meaningful impact
- Strong embedded software engineering background in C, C++, or similar
- Positive about AI and its application within software engineering and robotics
- Experience with real-time or embedded systems
- Familiarity with regulated environments
- Aerospace, defence, automotive or autonomous systems experience considered highly desirable
- Software engineering, Robotics, or similar education at degree level or higher
- Embedded software development (C/C++)
- Real-time or embedded systems experience
- AI applications in software engineering and robotics
- Familiarity with regulated environments
- Interest in autonomous systems (aerospace/defence/automotive contexts)
