Software Engineer (Backend / Full-Stack) - Golang

In this role you will design, build and enhance secure, scalable backend and full-stack services. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to deliver RESTful APIs, database models, and real-time features for mission-critical environments. You’ll influence technical design and ensure robust security through mTLS/X.509. This is a remote UK role with modern tooling and opportunities to shape product evolution in a high-performance engineering culture.

• Design and develop backend services using Go
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs
• Create and maintain PostgreSQL data models
• Develop real-time and event-driven platform capabilities
• Implement secure authentication and communication mechanisms
• Build React-based interfaces and dashboards
• Support automated testing and CI/CD processes
• Contribute to solution design and technical architecture decisions
• Develop and extend internal tools and platforms
• Collaborate with software, networking and infrastructure teams

• Commercial experience with Go (Golang)
• Strong REST API development experience
• PostgreSQL experience
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks (GORM)
• Understanding of concurrency (goroutines, channels, mutexes)
• Docker and containerized apps experience
• React development experience
• Knowledge of React Hooks (useState, useCallback, useMemo)
• Modern JavaScript (ES6+, async/await)
• Experience with API integration (Axios)
• Tailwind CSS experience
