Pay / Benefits- base salary 200,000–300,000 USD per year

- Develop and optimize infrastructure for market data, order entry and execution logic across multiple asset classes
- Design fault-tolerant, low-latency live trading systems, including data encoding over WAN and hardware failure recovery
- Profile and improve performance-critical code for throughput and latency in production
- Build and maintain infrastructure for products including client-facing wholesale and SDP platforms, distributed network filesystems, and scalable research workflows
- Write software interfacing with specialized hardware such as FPGAs and ASICs used in trading systems
- 1+ years of professional work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Superior design, debugging, and problem solving skills
- Advanced C++ experience required; daily use preferred
- Knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Linux), system/processor performance, and network communication
- Independent problem-solving ability
- Mentorship and willingness to advise other developers
- Ability to articulate software designs at high and low levels
