Pay / Benefits
  • base salary 200,000–300,000 USD per year

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize infrastructure for market data, order entry and execution logic across multiple asset classes
  • Design fault-tolerant, low-latency live trading systems, including data encoding over WAN and hardware failure recovery
  • Profile and improve performance-critical code for throughput and latency in production
  • Build and maintain infrastructure for products including client-facing wholesale and SDP platforms, distributed network filesystems, and scalable research workflows
  • Write software interfacing with specialized hardware such as FPGAs and ASICs used in trading systems
Key requirements
  • 1+ years of professional work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Superior design, debugging, and problem solving skills
  • Advanced C++ experience required; daily use preferred
  • Knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Linux), system/processor performance, and network communication
  • Independent problem-solving ability
  • Mentorship and willingness to advise other developers
  • Ability to articulate software designs at high and low levels
  • Advanced C++ programming
  • UNIX/Linux proficiency
  • System/processor performance tuning
