Location: High Wycombe
Salary: 40000 - -60000 Depending on Experience Plus Benefits .

Office based 4 days a weeK

We're seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong C++ development experience and ideally some Embedded Linux and QT experience to join a team developing advanced software for connected technology products.

This role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and has a proven ability to design and implement sophisticated algorithms for data analysis, diagnostics, measurement, or optimisation.

Essential Requirements

• Strong commercial C++ development experience.
• Ability to design and implement complex algorithms .
• Strong mathematical skills, including calculus and analytical problem solving.
• Experience with software design, testing and debugging.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and software architecture.
• Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar (or equivalent experience).

Highly Desirable

• Qt development (Qt Widgets and/or QML).
• Embedded Linux development.
• Linux application development.
• Networking technologies (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP, VLAN, SNMP).
• Microsoft Azure and cloud-connected products.
• Python development.
• CI/CD and GitLab.
• Machine learning or data analytics.
