Software Engineer - Commercial Journeys

In this role you will design and implement scalable software solutions in collaboration with product and engineering leadership. You will work with cross-functional teams to balance technical and operational considerations, and drive the full development lifecycle from design to maintenance. You will embed testing and security standards and contribute to learning within the engineering community. • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leaders to design solutions balancing trade-offs
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
• Own key aspects of the development life cycle from design to maintenance, including testing and security
• Embed testing and security practices into the team's output
• Contribute to engineering practice communities and knowledge sharing
• Participate in agile methodologies, including pairing, code/documentation reviews, and continuous delivery

• Node.js (backend focus)
• JavaScript/TypeScript; some .NET experience is a plus
• Experience with Agentic AI workflows and integrations
• Experience building scalable, highly available services
• Experience designing and maintaining build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Knowledge of security engineering practices and methods
• Creative problem solver who can organize a team around a challenge
