Software Engineer - Connectors

In this role you will help extend Neo4j’s connectivity by designing and building connectors that bring data from diverse systems into the graph. You will contribute to data ingestion capabilities and streaming APIs, enabling faster, more scalable access to the graph. You’ll collaborate with cross‑team partners to enhance core features and, when needed, deliver intuitive front‑ends for connectors. This is a hands‑on opportunity to shape how Neo4j integrates with cloud and on‑premises ecosystems at scale. • Design and architect connectors for the Neo4j database
• Build and maintain connectors for various technologies
• Design new streaming/data ingestion APIs to improve speed and usability
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance core database features
• Occasionally develop front‑ends for connectors or integrations with user interaction

• 5+ years of production‑level software development experience
• Experience designing multi‑threaded systems and algorithms
• Hands‑on backend programming in Kotlin, Java, or Go
• Experience with distributed event streaming or data processing platforms and/or cloud/on‑prem data warehouses
• Desirable: experience with graph databases and frontend development (React/TypeScript)
