Software Engineer - Distributed Compute

As a Distributed Compute Engineer you will strengthen HRT’s research environment by improving how users run and iterate on workloads. You’ll optimize the platform’s scheduling, caching, and monitoring to speed up research cycles, while balancing resource efficiency. You’ll work closely with quantitative traders and software engineers to understand needs and set technical direction for the infrastructure that supports algo research. This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership to scale a best-in-class compute environment and drive impactful performance improvements.

- Strong C++ expertise (daily use preferred)
- Python familiarity preferred
- Experience collaborating with quantitative researchers and traders
- Excellent communication skills
