Overview
In this role you will contribute to the full lifecycle of embedded software products for a UK-based technology manufacturer. You’ll join an experienced Product Design team in a hands-on environment where software drives product functionality and evolution. You will work on both new developments and improvements to existing technologies, delivering solutions from concept through testing, release and ongoing enhancement. This is an opportunity to see your work progress from development to real-world use within a collaborative, product-focused setting.
Responsibilities- Contribute across the full product development lifecycle from concept to release and ongoing enhancement
- Work on both new product development and existing technologies
- Operate in a hands-on development environment where software is central to product functionality
- Collaborate within the Product Design team to deliver tangible product improvements
- Support software evolution through testing and ongoing enhancement of existing products
- Commercial embedded software development experience
- Strong C and C++ skills
- Experience with Linux
- Knowledge of wireless technologies
- SQL database experience
- GitHub/version control
