Overview

Embedded Software Engineer in Reading, joining an established UK technology manufacturer. You will work across the full product development lifecycle, spanning from concept to release and ongoing enhancement. You’ll be part of a hands-on Product Design team where software is integral to product functionality. The role involves developing commercial embedded software and tackling real-world integration challenges. Responsibilities

  • Contribute across the full product development lifecycle from concept to release and ongoing maintenance
  • Develop embedded software for both new products and existing technologies
  • Collaborate in a hands-on Product Design team to deliver software-enabled features
  • Work with C/C++, Linux, wireless technologies, SQL, and version control to implement solutions
  • Identify and debug issues, driving continuous product improvement and optimization

Key requirements
  • Commercial embedded software development experience
