Overview
In this role you will develop and maintain the Avigilon Alta Video UI, contributing to a high-performance frontend platform that powers real-time video and analytics. You will collaborate across teams to implement state management, API integrations, and reliable delivery pipelines, helping scale our VMS across product portfolios. You’ll work with modern frontend tech to deliver maintainable, impactful solutions that support safer communities. This is a hands-on role focused on engineering fundamentals and long-term architectural integrity.

- Analyze, develop, and maintain software for the organization’s products and systems
- Develop, validate, and test code to ensure it is tested, maintainable, and debuggable
- Implement state management patterns and API integrations to support scaling
- Contribute to delivery with basic CI/CD understanding and Git versioning
- Collaborate with other teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions
- 2-5 years of software engineering experience
- HTML, CSS, TypeScript
- familiarity with modern frontend frameworks
- Understanding of state patterns and data flows (Pinia, Vuex, Redux)
- RESTful APIs and websockets; solid web development principles
