Overview
In this role, you will contribute to the Avigilon Alta Video UI, developing and maintaining frontend software that supports real-time safety-focused systems. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to implement state management, APIs, and scalable frontend solutions. The position emphasizes quality through testing, collaboration, and a solid engineering mindset. This is a hybrid London-based role, offering opportunities to influence critical, mission-driven products.

- Develop, validate, test, and debug maintainable code

- Understand and apply CI/CD principles and Git-based delivery
- Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- 1-3 years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
- Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (Pinia, Vuex, or Redux)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and websockets; solid web development fundamentals
- Strong foundation in data structures/algorithms and design patterns
