Overview
In this role you will design and maintain high-performance, secure software solutions within a cross-functional team. You will contribute end-to-end across the development life cycle, from requirements and design through testing, deployment and operations, to rapidly deliver value. The position focuses on leveraging Google Cloud Platform and AI-enabled capabilities to solve complex problems at scale. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and analysts to continuously improve engineering capability and impact. This is an opportunity to grow technically while contributing to a cloud-native, customer-centric platform.
Responsibilities- Engineerto deliver complex, high-quality software and tools that add business value
- Work in permanent teams covering full software lifecycle: development, enhancement, maintenance, decommissioning
- Collaborate to optimise the software engineering capability across the platform
- Design, develop, test and implement working software solutions
- Engage across requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment and operations
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform development across the GCP ecosystem
- Practical knowledge of GCP infrastructure using Terraform
- GCP networking experience (VPC design, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud Load Balancing)
- Interest in emerging AI technologies with exposure to LLMs; MCP and A2A concepts
- Experience with Apigee Hybrid or Apigee X as part of GCP toolkit
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, especially Google Kubernetes Engine
- Familiarity with Cloud Armor and Model Armor for security
- Relevant Google Cloud Platform professional qualifications
- Ability to apply new AI technologies to real engineering challenges
